Steven Mah lives in Lakewood, Colorado with his wife, son, and the family labradoodle. He has a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Colorado and a juris doctor from Creighton University. He is a licensed attorney working as an administrative enforcement officer for the Colorado Department of Natural Resources.

Steven has severe hemophilia A and has been active in the bleeding community throughout his life. He has twice been a panelist at National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF) conferences. He previously served as a mentor and leader for Colorado’s hemophilia teen wilderness camp. He is a former board member of the Colorado Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation and currently sits on their advocacy committee. He has advocated on behalf of the bleeding community at Washington Days in Washington DC. He was a participant in the international AFFIRM Program from 2017-2018.
