Allison lives in Houston, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University, Recreation and Tourism Science in 1992. Allison married Patrick Brogan in 1996 and their sons were born in 2000 and 2003. After their oldest son was diagnosed with severe hemophilia A, she went back to school and obtained her bachelor of science in Nursing from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She has worked in the hospital setting as an orthopedic nurse, as well as in the school and home settings. Allison enjoys traveling, camping and communing with nature, reading, and watching her kids play various sports. Her favorite places she has visited are South Africa, Greece, Ireland and Liechtenstein.
